Update: Death Investigation in the Area of 17 Stafford Street

Police Locate Suspect Wanted in Connection with Murder
At approximately 7:59pm, on Sunday, May 2, 2010, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a call for a person shot in area of 17 Stafford Street in Roxbury. On arrival, officers observed an individual, a 27 year-old black male, suffering from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, later identified as Paul Fagan, 27, of Boston, was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he later succumbed to injuries.

As a result of an on-going investigation, Homicide detectives were able to identify and name the individuals wanted in connection with the shooting death of Paul Fagan. As such, detectives sought and secured arrest warrants in the name of Yonas Tewolde, 29, of Boston and Karl Prescott, 28, of Everett charging both with Murder. 

Recently, authorities were able to locate one of the suspects wanted in connection with the murder of Paul Fagan in the state of Virginia. 

With help and assistance from law enforcement partners in Virginia, as well as, members of the United States Marshal Service and the Boston Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit, members of the Boston Police Homicide Unit apprehended Karl Prescott, 28, of Everett. Prescott will be arraigned and charged with Murder tomorrow (Thursday, May 19, 2011) in Roxbury District Court.
