At about 2:00am, on Sunday, May 1, 2011, an officer performing a paid detail on Area A-1 (Downtown) responded to a call for an individual breaking a large window at an establishment (Sissy K’s Bar) located at 6 Commercial Street. On arrival, officers spoke to bar employees who stated that the suspect, while leaving the location, was seen punching and smashing a large window found in the front of the establishment. Officers observed a large window (approximately 4’ by 10’) that appeared to be recently damaged. Officers located the suspect who was still on the scene.
Officers arrested Nicholas Underwood, 27, of Malden and charged him with the Willful & Malicious Destruction of Property.
