At about 12:00am, on Thursday, April 28, 2011, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a call for a person slashing tires in the area of Annunciation Road. Officers spoke to several witnesses who stated that the suspect walked over to a car, bent down and made a motion to suggest he had punctured or slashed a tire. As the suspect walked away from the car, witnesses observed two slashed tires. Officers located and apprehended the suspect.
Officers arrested Derek Hunt, 21, of Boston and charged him with the Willful & Malicious Destruction of Property.
