On Friday, March 10, 2011 E5’s Youth Service Officer, Elvis Garcia visited the afterschool program at the Casserly House in Roslindale to talk about bullying with the neighborhood youth. Officer Garcia discussed the behaviors of a bully and their victims; and how the consequences can be very serious for those who play the role of the bully. He stressed to the group that the most important thing for them to remember is confiding in an adult they trust. Speaking to an adult about the problem is the best way to prevent the bully’s behavior.
