At about 9:43pm, on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, officers from Area D-14 (Brighton) responded to a radio call for three black males looking into cars in the area of Nonantum and Washington Streets. On arrival, officers located three individuals who looked like the suspects. As officers approached the suspects, the suspects looked as if they were attempting to conceal items on their persons. Officers observed a black cord hanging out of one of the suspect’s jackets. While the suspects were being detained, the witness was brought to the scene. Once on scene, the witness looked at the suspect and positively identified them. A search of the suspects enabled officers to take possession of two GPS devices, two charger units and a black iPhone.
A search of the immediate area enabled officers to locate several cars that appeared to have been rummaged through given the facts that interior lights were illuminated and doors/trunks left ajar.

 Officers arrested Ryan Allen, 19, of Brighton, Da’Quan Buchanan, 17, of Brighton, a 16 year-old male from Brighton and charged all three with Breaking & Entering Motor Vehicles and Receiving Stolen Property.
