DEATH INVESTIGATION IN THE AREA OF 37 ELLINGTON STREET

At about 7:42pm, on Saturday, March 26, 2011, officers from Area B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 37 Ellington Street. On arrival, officers located a 24 year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced.
The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
