Kids and Cops Team Up To Score Big! BPD and Youth Link Compete in B-Ball Tournament! (See pics)

On Sunday, March 13, 2011 at UMass Boston, 24 teams, each made up of 2 Boston Police officers and 3 Boston teenagers from Youth Link joined forces for a basketball tournament!
The goal of this Youth Link programs is to provide kids with the life skills needed to resolve conflicts and become leaders. It is another example of the city’s ongoing commitment to community policing and the BPD’s strong dedication to prevention programs for local youth.
