At about 5:15pm, on Sunday, October 25, 2009, officers from Area D-4 (South End) responded to a call for a person stabbed in the area of 771 Albany Street. On arrival, officers learned that a male victim, suffering from a non-life threatening stab wound, had been stabbed in the area of the Boston Medical Center. After stabbing the victim, the suspect fled the area on foot.
On Wednesday, March 2, 2011, members of the Boston Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit in association with officers from the Quincy Police Department located the suspect wanted in connection with the above stabbing in the area of 285 Newport Ave in Quincy. Officers executed an arrest warrant in the name of Fredrick Ross, 43, of Boston who was wanted for Assault with Intent to Murder and Assault & Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon.
The suspect was taken into custody and transported to District D-4 (South End).
