About 11:29PM on Sunday, February 6, 2011, officers from District E-5 (West Roxbury) responded to the area of 201 Belgrade Ave. in West Roxbury for a car accident with injuries.
On arrival, officers determined that there had been a serious accident which resulted in life threatening injuries to one of the parties. The victim was transported to Faulkner Hospital where he was subsequently pronounced.
The victim has been identified as Edward Britt, 30 of Roslindale.
The facts and circumstances of this incident remain under investigation.
