SHOOTING INCIDENT IN THE AREA OF 3106 WASHINGTON STREET

At about 9:30pm, on Saturday, January 29, 2011, officers from Area E-13 (Jamaica Plain) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 3106 Washington Street. On arrival, officers located a 20 year-old black male suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim, suffering from a non-life threatening injury, was transported to Brigham & Women’s Hospital for treatment.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact Area E-13 detectives at (617) 343-5628.
