At about 9:00am, on Sunday, January 30, 2011, officers from Area B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a motor vehicle accident in area of Harvard and Wales Streets. On arrival, officers observed two cars that had been involved in the accident. The operator of one of the vehicles (a 22 year-old female) was transported to Boston Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries suffered as a result of the accident. The cause of the accident is under investigation and no citations have been issued at this time.
