At about 1:00am, on Saturday, January 15, 2011, officers performing a paid detail on Area A-1 (Downtown) observed an individual being asked to leave and escorted from Ned Devine’s bar. As officers approached, officers could hear the suspect stating, “You don\’t know who my father is and you are done.\” Officers noted that the individual appeared to be highly intoxicated. When officers assisted employees of the bar in their efforts to escort the suspect off the property, the suspect began to verbally disparage and disrespect the officers. Said the suspect, “You’re all corrupt.” When told to leave the area or face arrest, the suspect assumed an aggressive stance and continued to yell and scream at the detail officers. 

After a brief struggle, officers arrested Mike Vite, 23, of Boston and charged him with Being Disorderly. 

During the booking the process, the suspect again yelled, “You have no idea who my father is.” Suspect then added, “He will have your job and your pension.”
