At about 3:08am, on Sunday, January 16, 2011, officers from Area D-14 (Brighton) responded to a radio call for vandalism in progress in the area of 85 Harvard Ave (Common Ground Bar). Employees stated that an individual broke their front window, and, they were holding him on scene. On arrival, officers observed damage to a large double pane glass window that appeared to have been broken. According to witnesses, the suspect intentionally elbowed the window when he was walking by.
Officers arrested Ryan Barnier, 19, of Boston and charged him with the Willful & Malicious Destruction of Property.
