The Parking Ban will remain in effect until 9:00am tomorrow morning, Thursday, January 13, 2011.
When a snow emergency has been declared, parking regulations are strictly enforced to ensure that streets remain accessible for snow plows, fire vehicles and other emergency responders. During declared snow emergencies, please follow the parking regulations so as to avoid tickets or towing.
Parking is prohibited on major arteries and discounted parking is available at several parking lots and garages to cars with Boston resident parking stickers. Vehicles must be removed from participating garages within two hours of the emergency ban being lifted or they will be subject to the standard parking rates. Vehicles may begin entering the participating parking facilities two hours prior to the declared emergency.
