TWO FANS PUT ON ICE AFTER JUMPING ON THE ICE

At about 9:30pm, on Saturday, December 18, 2010, an officer performing a paid detail at the TD Garden for the hockey game between the Boston Bruins and the Washington Capitals observed two individuals attempting to scale the boards in an effort to get onto the playing surface. As officers made their way towards the suspects, the suspects were able to gain access to the ice surface. Given the intrusion, the game was delayed a few minutes as officers secured and escorted the suspects from the playing surface.

Once off the ice, officers arrested Jon Parker, 20, of New Hampshire and Matt Parker, 17, of New Hampshire and charged both with Disturbing a Public Assembly. While talking to the suspects, officers noted that both suspects appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.
