This morning around 3:07AM, officers from District D-14 (Allston/Brighton) responded to the parking lot at 130 Englewood Ave. for three males spray painting in the rear parking lot. En route, officers were advised that the suspects had had moved from the rear parking lot and had climbed the roof of Roggie’s located at 356 Chestnut Hill Avenue.
Officers quickly responded to the scene and there observed three males on the roof of Roggie’s with one suspect in the act of spray painting on the roof. All three suspects were ordered from the roof and placed under arrest after officers observed paint on their hands.
Officers spoke to a witness who reported that the suspects were first observed coming from the rear of 130 Englewood Ave. throwing bottles on the ground. According to the witness, the suspects while in the parking lot started trying to tear down parking signs in the lot and then moved to rear wall of 356 Chestnut Hill Ave. and started spray painting on the walls eventually moving to the roof. Officers responded to the reported locations and observed graffiti that had been written by the suspects.
The suspects, Geoffrey Naunheim, 23 of Brighton, Nathaniel Oak, 21 of Brighton, and Daniel K. Lane III, 22 of Brighton were arrested and charged Damage to Property by Graffiti.
