This morning around 3:49AM, officers from District D-14 (Allston/Brighton) responded to 1713 Commonwealth Ave. for a report of a breaking and entering in progress.
Officers quickly responded to the incident location and upon entering the victim’s apartment observed the suspect sleeping on the victim’s couch. The suspect appeared to be intoxicated and could not tell officers his name or address.
Officers spoke with the victim who reported to officers that she woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and noticed the suspect sleeping on her couch. The victim went on to tell officers that she was in fear for her safety and that of her children so she hid in a bedroom until officers arrived. There were no obvious signs of forced entry to the victim’s apartment and victim did not know how the suspect gained entry into her apartment.
The suspect, Timothy Spadaro, 21 of Waltham was arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering in the Nighttime to Commit a Misdemeanor
