This morning around 11:03, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to 20 Outlook Rd. for an investigate premise call.
On arrival, officers spoke to a school employee who had just located two apparent bullet holes in a class room window. Detectives responded to the scene and inspected the window and the classroom. Detectives observed a shattered window with a hole in the shade and noted what appeared to be ballistic damage in the area of the ceiling and wall directly in front of the classroom, opposite the window.
Detectives processed the scene and thus have far based on preliminary investigation have determined that the damage to the window and classroom is most likely from a previous incident. The previous incident occurred on Thursday, November 11, 2010 around 12:36AM. During that incident officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to 15 Outlook Road for a ShotSpotter activation in the area of Outlook Road.
On arrival, officers looked in the area for possible victims and suspects to no avail. Officers canvassed the area with the assistance of a canine and were able locate ballistic evidence in the rear of 15 Outlook Road. The area that the casings were found is in the rear of the building, in the same area where the window with the bullet holes, damaged ceiling and wall were found.
