B & E Suspect Arrested in South Boston: Suspect Also Believed To Be Responsible for Limo Car-jacking

On November 9, 2010 at approximately 10:50pm, officers arrested Joseph Ghella, 45, of South Boston on charges that include Unarmed Breaking and Entering, Night and numerous outstanding warrants from Lynn District Court. Ghella is also believed to be connected to the B & E incident and subsequent limo car-jacking from this past weekend.

Officers were able to gain entrance to the apartment and located the suspect still inside. At that time, officers placed Joseph Ghella under arrest.

Ghella has also been identified as the person responsible for a B&E incident on Howes Street (Dorchester) and subsequent limo car-jacking (out front Blessed Mother Teresa Church) which occurred on November 6, 2010.

** Ghella’s mug shot cannot be made available at this time as there are ongoing witness identification issues. The investigation into the November 6th incident is ongoing and further information will be released when available.
