Search Warrant Yields Drugs, Guns and Money

Yesterday afternoon, officers from the District B-2 (Roxbury) Drug Control Unit, and agents from the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) arrested suspect, David L. Huffman, 53 of Roxbury and charged him with Trafficking Class A over 100 Grams, Trafficking Class B over 200 Grams, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, and Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device.

Officers, armed with a search warrant, responded 22 Hansford Place and started surveillance, awaiting the arrival of the suspect. The suspect arrived shortly after the surveillance started and officers stopped him, identified themselves and showed him a copy of the search warrant.  Officers secured a key to the suspect’s apartment from him and successfully entered the suspect’s apartment without incident.

Pursuant to execution of the search warrant, officers recovered/seized:

  1. Over a 100 Grams of Heroin
  2. Over 300 Grams of Cocaine
  3. A Smith and Wesson Handgun
  4. Numerous Drug Paraphernalia
  5. Over $22, 000.00 in cash
  6. Ammunition
  7. Large Capacity Feeding Device

The suspect will be arraigned at Roxbury District Court today.
