Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon Suspect Arrested

This morning around 2:41AM, officers from District A-1 (Downtown Boston) responded to a radio call for a fight at the Moon Villa Restaurant located at 15 Edinboro Street in Chinatown.

On arrival, officers located a male victim inside the restaurant being treated by EMS for a stab wound to the abdomen. The male victim was transported to Tufts New England in critical condition.

Detectives from both A-1 (Downtown Boston) and Homicide responded to the scene and there were able to gather evidence. Based on their investigation, detectives learned that the victim was attacked by four males inside the restaurant after a verbal exchange. During the assault, the victim was both stabbed and assaulted with a chair leaving him incoherent and bleeding on the floor of the restaurant. Detectives were also able to learn that one of the suspects involved in the assault sustained a cut his hand during the assault on the victim.

Detectives, armed with the above information, learned that a male with a cut to the hand just walked into Boston Medical center seeking medical attention. Detectives responded to Boston Medical Center and there observed an individual matching the suspect description of one of the males who had assaulted the victim. The suspect was detained after preliminary investigation and after further investigation of the facts placed under arrest.

The suspect, Harvey Henry, 25 of Dorchester was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon, and Assault with Intent to Murder.
