Sleeping on the \”Job\” Not Allowed

Early Sunday morning around 2:40AM, officers from District A-1 (Downtown Boston) were on patrol in the area of 2 Center Plaza when they heard an alarm going off and observed a crowd of onlookers and a security guard standing in front of the CVS Pharmacy.

Officers approached the front of the store and saw that the front window was broken and were subsequently informed by the security guard that there was a suspect still inside the store.  Officers informed Operations of the breaking and entering and asked for additional units to respond to assist in locating and placing the suspect under arrest. Officers entered the store and observed a number of items strewn about the floor of the store. Officers continued to search the store for the suspect and while conducting their search observed the suspect lying in the middle of aisle 15 passed out.

The suspect, Alexander D. Vuckovic, 21 of Acton was arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering in the Nighttime.
