IF YOU’RE GONNA BREAK THE LAW … WHY DO IT AT THE EXPENSE OF AN EX-GIRLFRIEND???

At about 8:30pm, on Saturday, October 2, 2010, officers from Area E-5 (West Roxbury) responded to a radio call for person breaking into a residence in the area of 43 Newburg Street. On arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated, upon returning home, she heard someone in her apartment. As a result, she asked, “Who’s there?” Upon asking the question, the unwelcome guest in her apartment replied that it her ex-boyfriend and then fled the scene. According to the victim, she recognized her ex-boyfriend’s voice but could not understand why he had broken into her place. Officers promptly broadcast a description of the suspect over the police radio. In short time, officers located an individual who looked like the suspect and approached him for questioning. While officers were talking to the suspect, the victim was brought to the scene. Once on scene, the victim looked at the suspect and stated, “That’s him.”

Officers arrested Conlley Gadson, 39, of Boston and charged him with Breaking & Entering (Night). 

According to the victim, she had recently spoken to suspect and told him that she was going to be out of town but her travel plans changed.
