POLICE ARREST ONE BREAKING INTO HOMES IN SOUTHIE

At about 1:57am, on Wednesday, September 8, 2010, officers from Area C-6 (South Boston) responded to a radio call for a several breaks in area of 851 E 4th Street. On arrival, officers spoke to one victim who stated that he was sleeping in his apartment when he heard someone messing with or moving his air conditioner. According to the victim, his air conditioner was in a window that could be accessed by his back porch. Upon hearing the noise, the victim got up and observed a white male attempting to enter his apartment. The victim described the suspect as a white male, wearing a baseball hat and a white tank top. According to the victim, when he yelled, the suspect fled. Officers promptly broadcast a description of the suspect over the police radio.

A short time later, officers observed an individual who matched the description of the suspect. As a result, officers approached the suspect for questioning. While officers were talking to the suspect, the victim from the earlier incident was brought to the scene for identification purposes. Once on scene, the victim, after seeing the suspect, stated, “That’s him.”

Officers arrested Anthony Pasco, 25, of Boston and charged him with Unarmed Breaking & Entering (Nighttime).
