Officers spoke to witnesses in the home who reported to hear several gunshots. A relative reported that after hearing the gunshots she located the 43 year old male victim in the living room suffering from his injuries.
A patrol officer along with the Codman Square Safe Street Team responded and helped to clear the apartment and secure the scene. Boston EMS responded and transported the victim to the Boston Medical Center where he is currently listed in stable condition.
Detectives who responded to the scene observed the victim suffering from several apparent gun shot wounds. Detectives conducted several interviews which developed information leading to a suspect.
