Around 12:00PM on Tuesday, August 17, 2010, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a call for a person shot opposite 2 Shafter Street in Dorchester.
On arrival, officers located a black male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds lying on the ground. The victim was rushed to the Boston Medical Center by Boston EMS suffering from life threatening injuries. The suspect was subsequently pronounced a short time after arriving at the hospital. The victim has been identified as Terrance SMALL, 39, of Dorchester.
The facts and circumstances of this incident are currently under investigation by the Boston Police Homicide Unit.
