POLICE ARREST ONE FOR CREATING A DISTURBANCE WITH HIS MOTORCYCLE

At about 2:00am, on Sunday, August 8, 2010, officers from Area A-1 (Downtown) were on patrol in the area of State & Broad Streets when a witness approached and stated he had just seen an altercation, involving a motorcyclist, stirring in the area of 148 State Street. As officers approached, officers could hear the sound of revving motorcycles. Also, officers were able to see several individual pushing and shoving. Once on scene, officers could see one motorcyclist in particular blocking traffic with his bike. Officers then watched the suspect jump off his bike in an effort to start a fight with a group of bystanders. At this point, officers ordered the suspect to remove his bike from the middle of the street as it was blocking the free flow of traffic. When the suspect refused, officers placed him under arrest.

Officers arrested John McMillan, 21, of Malden and charged him with Being Disorderly.

POLICE ARREST ONE FOR TRYING TO KICK IN A DOOR

At about 11:30pm, on Saturday, August 7, 2010, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a breaking & entering in the area of 40 Lawrence Ave. On arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated that the suspect attempted to kick her door in. According to the victim, the suspect kicked the door repeatedly in an effort to break it down and gain entry. When officers arrived, the suspect was still on scene. When asked to explain why she attempted to kick the door in, the suspect stated that she thought her boyfriend was inside the location.

Officers arrested Shonda Dale, 34, of Boston and charged her with the Willful & Malicious Destruction of Property.
