At approximately 11:05PM last night, an officer from District C-11 (Dorchester) arrested suspect, Saeed J. Muhammad, 51 of Dorchester and charged him with Possession of Class A with Intent to Distribute.
This arrest came about when an officer in plain clothes from District C-11 (Dorchester) was standing in front of 1500 Dorchester Ave. eating a slice of pizza was and approached by an individual. The individual stated to the off duty officer, “Hey! You want to buy some dope?” and pulled out a clear medium plastic containing a beige powder believed to be heroin. The plain clothes officer at that time identified himself as a police officer and the suspect exclaimed, “I was just kidding, it’s my thyroid medicine.” The package was taken from the suspect and he was placed under arrest with the assistance of other units.
