Homicide Victim Identified
At about 4:23am, on Sunday, July 4, 2010, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a man down in front of 35 Dunreath Street. On arrival, officers located a black male who appeared to have been suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene. The victim has since been identified as Lamont Jones, 24, of Roxbury.
