On Monday, May 3, 2010, at approximately 6:25pm, Boston Police Officers assigned to Area D-14 ( Allston ), responded to 33 Pratt Ave, Allston for a report of a woman falling from a two-story building.
Upon arrival, BPD Officers, Boston EMS and The Boston Fire Department located the female victim on the ground in the rear yard of 33 Pratt Avenue. Medical treatment was rendered to what appeared to be a broken leg and arm. She was then transported to Brigham & Woman’s Hospital for further treatment. At this time, her injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
Officers conducted a preliminary investigation that showed a group of friends were on the roof of the property pretending to attempt to jump to the roof of the neighbor’s garage roof. Witnesses stated the victim ran to the edge of the roof as if she was going to jump but was unable to stop in time. The victim then fell to the ground feet first.
Area D-14 ( Allston ) detectives will continue to conduct interviews and attempt to determine the parties actions prior to the victim falling from the roof. At this time the incident appears to be an accident.
