Going the Wrong Way Leads Suspect to Jail

Last night around 11:09PM, officers from District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) were on patrol in the area of Green St. in Jamaica Plain when they observed a car traveling the wrong way on Green Street.

Officers activated their light and sirens and conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Alfred St. and Seaverns Avenue. There, officers approached the operator and asked of him his license and registration. Officers were able to get the operator’s identity and checked for his license status through the Mobile Data Terminal (computer in police car). Officers, after checking the operator’s information through the MDT, discovered that the suspect had an active warrant for his arrest for Violation of a Restraining Order.

The operator, Reggie Daniel, 37, of Roslindale was arrested for the active warrant and issued a citation for Operating a Motor Vehicle the Wrong Way a on a Way Street.
