LATE NITE FOOD ORDER LANDS ONE BEHIND BARS

At about 11:07pm, on Sunday, April 4, 2010, officers from Area C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a report of vandalism in progress at 787 Adams Street. On arrival, officers learned that a white male in his 20’s had kicked in the front glass door of the Currach Sandwich Shop. According to the owner of the store, the individual, who appeared to be intoxicated, entered the store and attempted to order food. When the owner told the suspect that that the kitchen was closed, the victim, screaming obscenities, demanded service, kicked the door in and then ran down Minot Street. In short time, officers were able to locate an individual who matched the description of the suspect. When the owner of the store saw the individual, he stated, “That’s him.”

Officers arrested Paul Boyze, 25, of Boston and charged him with the Willful & Malicious Destruction of Property.
