Search Warrant Leads to Arrest of Two SuspectsPursuant to an ongoing investigation on illegal massage parlors and prostitution services in the Allston/Brighton area, detectives from District D-14 (Allston/Brighton) executed a search warrant at the rear basement apartment of 1381 Commonwealth Ave. yesterday around 8:53PM and arrested suspect, Su Ching Chung, 55, of Allston and charged her with Allowing Premise to be Used for Immoral Purposes, Sex for a Fee, and Operating an Unlicensed Massage and suspect, Sum Kwai Hoang, 56 of Allston was charged them with Allowing Premise to be Used for Immoral Purposes.
During the course of the investigation, undercover police officers contacted the suspects based on ads placed in a local paper and set up appointments where the suspects agreed to provide sexual services in exchange for a fee as part of their illegal massage parlor business. The suspects were contacted on different occasions, provided their address to the undercover officers and bargained for their services with the officers on their arrival at the suspects’ home.

Random Query Leads to Recovery of Stolen Car
Last night around 10:53PM, officers from the Youth Violence Strike Force (Gang Unit) were on patrol in the area of Bowdoin and Hamilton Streets when they queried a motor vehicle traveling inbound on Bowdoin Street.
The query revealed that the car had been reported stolen on September 7, 2009 in Brockton, and as a result a traffic stop was conducted. At the traffic stop, both occupants were removed and the operator, Kelly Rivera, 51, of Brockton was arrested and charged Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle and operating with a Revoked License. A threshold inquiry was conducted on the passenger and he was released.
Familiarity with Suspect Leads to Arrest
This morning around 1:00AM, officers from District C-6 (South Boston) responded to 252 West 3rd St for a man chasing another man on a bicycle. On arrival, officers were informed that the man on the bicycle had just it from the victim’s back yard and was being pursued by the victim.
The victim eventually lost sight of the suspect despite being assisted by officers after they arrived on-scene. Officers received a description of the suspect from the victim despite the suspect having made good his escape, and broadcast the description. An assisting officer immediately recognized the description of the suspect based on a threshold inquiry that had been done on this same suspect earlier in the night by other district officers, and provided the suspect’s name. The victim then further elaborated by telling officers that he was in his house when his wife observed an individual walk by their bedroom window coming from their backyard. The victim reported that he went outside and observed the suspect on his bicycle riding down West 3rd Street.
Officers then continued to look for the suspect and later on in the night were patrolling in the area of Pappas Way and 1st Street when they observed an individual matching the suspect description. Officers stopped this individual and determined that it was indeed the same person that had been identified by the officer from earlier with the bicycle propped nearby. The suspect, Colm Pierce, 18, of South Boston was detained and subsequently positively identified by the victim as well as the bike leading to his arrests for Larceny over $250.00.
