DAILY INCIDENTS FOR THURSDAY, AUGUST 20, 2009

Female Assaults & Attempts to Rob an 87 year-old VictimOn Tuesday, August 20, 2009, at approximately 8:30am, Officers assigned to Area A-15 (Charlestown), were called to the area of 21 Main Street for a report of a robbery in progress.
Officers learned that a female attempted to rob an Eighty-Seven-year-old male. Dispatch informed the officers that the victim was following the suspect as she walked on Chestnut Street. An arriving officer observed the male and female and recognized the female suspect. Upon seeing the officer, the female suspect fled.
The victim informed officers that the female suspect walked up from behind him and placed her hand into his rear pocket and attempted to remove his wallet. The victim attempted to walk away but was pushed into a brick wall. The victim then yelled for help and the female began walking away. At this time, the victim followed the suspect until officers arrived.
On Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at approximately 3:52pm, officers assigned to Area A-15 (Charlestown), observed the above-mentioned suspect walking on Bunker Hill Street. The officers immediately recalled the incident from the previous day and knew the suspect was wanted. Officers attempted to approach the suspect and again she fled on foot. Officers were able to catch up with her after a brief chase and place her into custody.
Officers arrested Lisa Wallace, 39, of Everett on the charges of Attempted Unarmed Robbery, Assault with Intent to Rob, Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (brick wall) on a victim over the age of Sixty and Resisting Arrest.
