MISSING PERSONS ALERT

BOSTON POLICE SEEK PUBLIC ASSISTANCE IN EFFORTS TO LOCATE MISSING PERSONThe Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in their efforts to locate a person who has been missing since March 26, 2009. The missing person in this case was last seen leaving her home in East Boston on Area A-7 (East Boston).
The missing person is described below:

Sex: Female
Age: 15
Race: Hispanic
Height: 5’9”
Build: Medium
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Brown
Clothing: Last seen wearing a black sweater, black jeans and white and blue sneakers.
Incident Description:
At about 11:33pm, on Thursday, March 26, 2009, officers from Area A-7 (East Boston) responded to a radio call for a missing person at 790 Saratoga Street in East Boston. On arrival, officers spoke to the mother of the missing person who stated that her daughter, Katherin Argueta, 15, left the house for school but never made it to school. According to the mother, school officials from the Phoenix Charter Academy in Chelsea called her to notify and inform her that her daughter never showed up for school. According to the mother, her daughter left the house at approximately 7:00am. When asked where she may have gone, the mother stated that she believed her daughter may have run away, possibly, to be with her boyfriend.
