At about 8:00pm, on Wednesday, July 8, 2009, officers from Area D-4 (South End) responded to a radio call for a body found inside 1740 Washington Street. On arrival, officers spoke to the person who placed the call. According to the caller, she was conducting a room check when she discovered the victim lying in his room on his back motionless. Upon entering the room, officers located and observed a male, suffering from what appeared to be some degree of trauma, lying motionless on his back. Homicide investigators are awaiting the results of the medical examination before determining the cause of death. The victim was pronounced on the scene.The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
