DAILY INCIDENTS FOR SATURDAY, JUNE 13, 2009

SLEEPING BEAUTY ARRESTED IN WEST ROXBURYAt about 10:04am, on Thursday, June 11, 2009, officers from Area E-5 (West Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a stolen motor vehicle with the suspect still inside the car at the Home Depot at 1213 VFW Parkway. On arrival, officers were met by officers from the Dedham Police Department who stated that they had received a Lo-Jack hit on the stolen car while it was passing through Dedham. When officers approached the car, officers observed the suspect, sound asleep, still inside the car. The motor vehicle had been reported stolen by the suspect’s ex-wife. Officers were able to wake and remove the suspect from the motor vehicle.
Once outside the car, officers arrested James Dalton, 43, of Dedham and charged him with Using a Motor Vehicle without Authority.
MAN WITH CANE ARRRESTED FOR BREAKING CAR WINDSHIELD
At about 11:00pm, on Friday, June 12, 2009, officers from Area E-13 (Jamaica Plain) were stopped by a witness who stated that they had just observed an individual, walking with a cane, stop and smash a car windshield with that cane. The motor vehicle was parked in the area of Centre and Kinsboro Streets. In short time, officers were able to locate an individual walking with a cane. The suspect was brought to the scene where the witness was able to positively identify the witness.
Officers arrested James Lambrect, 46, of Chelsea and charged him with the Willful & Malicious Destruction of Property.
