POLICE ARREST FOUR FOR UNARMED ROBBERYAt about 10:15pm, on Sunday, May 31, 2009, officers from Area D-4 (South End) responded to a radio call for a robbery in progress in the area of 74 Symphony Road. On arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated that four black males approached him, surrounded him and demanded his cell phone, wallet and IPod. After complying, the victim says that one of the suspects stated, “Nice doing business with you.” Victim says the four suspects fled on foot in the direction of Gainsborough Street. Officers promptly broadcast a description of the suspects over the police radio. In short time, officers located four individuals matching the description of the suspects. While officers were questioning the suspects, the victim was brought to the scene. Once on scene, the victim stated, “That’s them.”
Officers arrested Royale Blake, 20, of Boston, Malcolm Williams, 17, of Boston, Von Cameron, 19, of Boston, Marcus Perry, 17, of Boston and charged all with Unarmed Robbery.
A search the suspects enabled officers to locate and take possession of the victim’s property.
