Death Investigation

DEATH INVESTIGATION AT 23 WILCOCK STREETAt about 6:45am, on Thursday, May 14, 2009, officers from Area B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call to investigate a man down in the area of 23 Wilcock Street. On arrival, officers located the body of a male lying outside the above location. The individual was pronounced on scene. The victim believed to be in his forties was found suffering from trauma, possibly a gunshot wound.
The Homicide Unit is awaiting information from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine cause and manner of the victim’s death.
