Mattapan Search Warrant Yields Three Firearms & DrugsOn Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at approximately 4:12pm, Drug Control Officers, assigned out of Area B-3 (Mattapan), responded to 359 Morton Street in order to execute a search warrant issued out of Dorchester District Court.
Officers arrived on-scene and approached the target location and knocked on the rear door. Officers then conducted a forceful entry while announcing their presence. Once inside, officers located two males within the target residence. Both parties were secured while a search was conducted.
As a result of the search, the following items were located and seized: a loaded .38 caliber revolver, a loaded .45 caliber (High Point) semi-automatic handgun, a loaded .9mm (correction: Mack 11) with an extended magazine, Five (5) plastic bags of Marijuana, numerous plastic bags (commonly used in the packaging of an illegal marijuana distribution operation), a digital scale (commonly used in the weighing of illegal substances prior to packaging) and several other drug paraphernalia items commonly used in the distribution of illegal substances were also located and seized.
Officers arrested Eugene Timmy Hunt, 18, of Boston on the charges of Illegal Possession of a Firearm, Illegal Possession of Ammunition and Possession of a Class D Substance (Marijuana) With the Intent To Distribute.
