COMMUNITY ALERTBOSTON POLICE SEEK TO IDENITIFY ARMED ROBBBERY SUSPECT
SUSPECT BELIEVED TO BE RESPONSIBLE
FOR INCIDENT IN BOSTON AND BROOKLINE
Boston Police are releasing surveillance images of a suspect wanted in connection with armed robbery incidents in Boston and Brookline. Detectives are hoping community members with information about this individual will come forward. Investigators are making every effort to identify and locate this suspect.
The surveillance images show the suspect using the victim’s credit cards at an MBTA station and a local CVS. Authorities are also interested in learning the identity of the female in the photo, who is believed to be accompanying the suspect.
This individual is also believed to be connected to a recent armed robbery in Brookline. Boston Police are working cooperatively with the Brookline Police Department to identify this individual.
Incident Description:
On April 27, 2009 at approximately 11:36pm, officers responded to an armed robbery at gun point at 465 Huntington Ave. Upon arrival officers located the victim inside the Fens near Clemente Park (behind MFA). Victim states he was walking through the Fens headed toward Fenway St. when he was stopped by a B/M, dark skin, about 6\’-01, 230 lbs., wearing cornrolls as a hair style, late 20\’s, wearing a long white T shirt with a black T shirt underneath and dark pants who demanded his property while pointing a black handgun at him. Victim states he placed his computer bag (no computer) down that carried a black I Phone valued at $300.00 and black wallet carrying 3 credit cards and 2 debit cards and walked away. Victim is unsure what direction suspect fled in, possibly towards Park Dr. Jersey St. area or Clemente Park.
Officers canvassed the area and searched for suspect to no avail. Officers advised victim to cancel all his credit cards / debit cards as soon as possible. Officers learned of activity on the victim’s debit card at the Jackson T station and at the CVS at 715 Morrissey Blvd.
