One Arrested On Drug ChargesOn Thursday, April 9, 2009, at approximately 8:30pm, Drug Detectives assigned to Area D-4 (South End), set up surveillance in the area of 540 Albany Street in anticipation to an illegal narcotics transaction believed to take place. Detectives received information, that an individual known to them, would be traveling in a black Lincoln (New Hampshire registration) for the purpose of conducting a cocaine deal.
At approximately 8:50pm, Officers observed the black Lincoln arrive at the above-mentioned location. Once the vehicle parked, Officers approached the occupants and identified themselves. The front seat passenger was recognized as the target of the investigation and removed from the vehicle. A search of the suspect produced numerous plastic bags of crack cocaine, weighing approximately Twenty-Three (23) grams.
Officers arrested Fredrick O’Neal, 49, of Boston on the charges of Trafficking Cocaine over 14 grams.
Suspect Arrested After Buying Gas With Counterfeit Money
On Thursday, April 9, 2009, at approximately 3:30pm, Officers assigned to Area E-18 (Hyde Park), responded to C&C Auto, 1012 Hyde Park Ave, for a report of a larceny in progress.
Upon arrival, Officers spoke with the owner of the station that stated a person paid for gas with a fraudulent twenty-dollar bill. The customer was still on the property and was interviewed by officers. The suspect continued to be vague and inconsistent when asked how he obtained the currency. Ultimately, The suspect was placed into custody.
Officers arrested Jesus Hector Perez, 23, of Boston on the charges of Possessing a Counterfeit Note and Uttering a Counterfeit Note.
