On April 7, 2009, at approximately 2:40am, Officers assigned to Area A-1 (Downtown), responded to the area of Brimmer Street @ Mt. Vernon Street for a report of a vigilant citizen that located the missing duckling “Pack”. On the previous day, “Pack” went missing sometime during the overnight hours.Officers arrived on-scene, and spoke with vigilant community members that were walking in the area of Mr. Vernon Street when they observed an object next to a tree. Upon further inspection, they recognized the object as the missing duckling. They immediately called BPD to report their findings.
Officers safely transported “Pack” back to Area A-1 (Downtown) where he was secured. “Pack” is currently in good health at the Department of Parks and Recreation.
