MAYOR MENINO AND COMMISSIONER DAVISTO ANNOUNCE EXPANSION OF COMMUNITY POLICING INITIATIVE
WHO: Mayor Thomas M. Menino; Police Commissioner Edward Davis; Andrea Kaiser, Executive Director of the Bird Street Community Center; Judith Beckler, President of St. Mary’s Women and Children’s Center; BPD Command Staff; members of the BPD Safe Street Team and local youth from the community center.
WHAT: Mayor Menino and Commissioner Davis will introduce the latest expansion to community policing efforts. The event will include a roll call of the officers who will be assigned to the Upham’s Corner area.
