Good Investigative Work Leads to Arrest of Shooting Suspect from Yesterday

Today around 12:17PM, detectives and officers from District E-5 (West Roxbury) arrested a 15-year-old suspect from Hyde Park, and charged him with Assault with Intent to Murder and Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon. This arrest was the result of an exhaustive investigation that started yesterday (Monday, March 2, 2009) morning around 12:19AM when officers from District E-5 responded to 14 Haydn St. in Roslindale for a report of shots fired. On arrival at the scene, officers located an 18-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
