DAILY INCIDENTS FOR TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2009

B&E Suspect Caught When He Returned to the SceneOn Monday, February 23, 2009, at approximately 4:45pm, Officers assigned to Area D-14 (Allston/Brighton), responded to 66 Union Street for a report of a Breaking & Entry in progress.
Officers arrived on-scene and learned that an unknown White Male, early thirties, 6 foot tall, wearing a Boston Water & Sewer Jacket entered the back door of 66 Union Street. While in the apartment, the Female resident confronted him by stating, “What are you doing in my house”? The suspect replied, “Is Jim here”? The suspect then fled from the house and proceeded out of the area in a Green Ford Escape. Officers broadcast a description of the suspect and a search of the area was conducted to no avail.
Approximately one hour later, Officers were continuing their search of the suspect and located his get-away vehicle parked in front of the victim’s residence. Officers then located the suspect as he walked down Union Street. The victim was able to positively identify the suspect as the person who entered her home.
Officers arrested Francis Neil Connolly, 36, of Boston on the charges of Breaking & Entering (night).
Sometimes You Just Have To Ask
On Monday, February 23, 2009, at approximately 9:08am, Officers assigned to Area A-1 (Downtown-Safe Street Team), received information from security at the St. Francis House that an individual was hanging around dealing drugs.
Officers approached the suspect and asked if he was dealing drugs, to which he replied, “No”. The suspect was then asked if he had any drugs on him, to which he replied, “Yes”. The suspect then spit out a clear plastic bag from his mouth and handed it over to officers. It was determined that the bag contained a small amount of heroin.
Officers arrested Brian Sanchez, 24, of Boston on the charges of Illegal Possession of a Class A Substance (Heroin).
Intoxicated Male Disrupts Dunkin Donuts
On February 23, 2009, at approximately 8:20pm, Officers assigned to Area A-7 (East Boston), responded to 35 Central Square, Dunkin Donuts, for a report of a Male swinging a belt around in the restaurant.
Officers arrived on-scene and observed a heavily intoxicated individual swinging a black, metal studded belt over his head and side to side. Officers also observed customers and employees huddled in the corner attempting to avoid being struck by the suspect. The individual immediately surrendered when officers approached him.

Officers arrested Felipe Najraro, 44, of Boston on the charges of Disorderly Conduct.
