DAILY INCIDENTS FOR SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2009

Parking Argument Leads To a Man being StabbedOn Saturday, February 21, 2009, at approximately 7:58pm, Officers assigned to Area B-3 (Mattapan), responded to 65 Deering Road for a report of a stabbing.
Officers arrived on-scene and found Boston E.M.S treating the victim for a non-life threatening stab wound. Officers learned a parking argument escalated into the victim being stabbed by a light skinned black male. The suspect fled the scene in a Ford Expedition.
Later that evening, at approximately 10:17pm, Officers assigned to Area C-11 (Dorchester), responded to 6 Ashmont Street for a call to investigate a suspicious person. Upon arrival, they learned the stabbing suspect might be inside the residence of 6 Ashmont Street. C-11 officers then knocked on the door and were greeted by the resident. She invited the offices in and they conducted a protective sweep of the apartment. While doing so, one officer heard someone running down the back staircase to the basement. Officers then conducted a search of the basement and located a Black Male hiding behind a cardboard box.
B-3 officers transported a witness to 6 Ashmont Street who positively identified the Black Male as the stabbing perpetrator.
Officers arrested Anthony Mingoes, 37, of Boston on the charges of Assault & Battery By Means of a Dangerous Weapon (knife).
Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed by Man with Knife
On Saturday, February 21, 2009, at approximately 4:32pm, Officers assigned to Area B-3 (Mattapan), responded to 21 Wildwood Street for a report of an armed robbery.
Once on-scene, Officers met with an individual who stated he was attempting to delivering pizza, calzone & chicken wings to 21 Wildwood Street when he was approached by a Black Male wearing a White shirt with a Red hat. The driver went on to state that the unknown male removed a large knife from his waistband and stated, “Give me the food…give me everything”. The driver handed over $40, the food and his cellular phone to the suspect before he ran to the rear of 21 Wildwood Street.
Officers then set up a perimeter around the property in order to prevent the potential escape of the suspect. While doing so, they were approached by the homeowner who supplied them with the key to the first floor apartment. Officers made entry and located three individuals within. One of the individuals was identified as the armed robber.
Police arrested Neil Earvin Tom, 19, of Boston on the charges of Armed Robbery (knife).
