WHEN YOU GOTTA GO .. GOING ANYWHERE IS NEVER A GOOD IDEAAt about 1:47am, on Friday, February 20, 2009, officers from Area D-4 (South End) responded to a radio call for the recovery of a stolen motor vehicle in the area of Tremont Street and Columbus Avenue. When officers arrived on the scene, officers observed a white female urinating in public. In addition to urinating in public, officers also observed the suspect drinking a beer. When officers pulled up next to the suspect, the suspect stated, “Stop looking at me you sick (expletives).” The suspect then pulled up her pants, walked towards the officer’s cruiser and threw her beer can to the ground. When officers exited their cruiser, the suspect began to verbally disrespect and disparage them. At one point, the suspect informed the officers that she had left her cell phone in a taxi cab and, then, demanded their help in retrieving it. The suspect stated, “The police are supposed to help and you guys are (expletives).” Seeing that the suspect appeared to be intoxicated given her slurred speech, unsteady movements, officers asked the suspect to provide identification. Upon seeing the suspect’s identification, officers learned that the suspect was under 21 years of age.
Officers arrested Sydney White, 18, of Boston and charged her with Indecent Exposure and the Unlawful Possession of Alcohol (Person Under 21).
