At about 10:10pm, on Sunday, February 15, 2009, officers from Area E-13 (Jamaica Plain) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 144 McBride Street. On arrival, officers located an individual suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. The victim, a 20 year-old black male, was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he was treated for life threatening injuries.The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
