BOSTON POLICE INVESTIGATE ATTEMPTED ABDUCTIONOn January 22, 2009, at approximately 9:06pm, officers responded to a radio call to take an investigate person report at a victim’s address in Roxbury. On arrival, the officers spoke with two victims, two girls ages 12 and 14. The victims stated that while walking on McGreevey Way they were approached by two suspects. One victim stated the suspect (operator of the motor vehicle) made threatening and sexual comments in an apparent attempt to lure the victims while banging the handle of a large knife on the outside of the driver\’s door. The victims, still walking on McGreevey Way, ran to a neighbor’s house for help. The victims then stated that the suspects drove down McGreevey Way towards Parker Street, taking a right onto Parker Street and from there directions unknown.
Officers searched the area for the suspects, said to be operating a dark green older model Honda Accord with snow covering the license plate. A description of the suspects and vehicle was broadcast to the units. Victims stated they were not harmed but frightened.
Suspect Descriptions:
· Light skinned Hispanic male, approximately 20 years old, wearing a white and red hat, black jacket and carrying a knife with a black handle.
· Dark skinned Black male, approximately 20 years old, wearing a black hat and black jacket.
Suspect Vehicle Description:
· Dark green older model Honda Accord with snow covering the license plate
The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact the Detectives at Area B-2 (Roxbury) at 617-343-4275.
